Add what you need

Most popular Full copywriting €160 Writing about your own trade is what holds most websites up. I start from a one-hour interview and write everything: the home page, the services, the introduction. You read it, you correct it, it’s done.
Extra page €100 One more page, structured and written like the others.
Online quote calculator €390 Your customers put together their order, the total appears, and the request reaches you already priced. The one on this site is an example.
Online table booking €390 Your customers book from the site, day and time. You receive the request and stay in control of the slots and the number of covers.
Simple logo €250 Three ideas, one chosen, delivered in every format.
Hosting, domain and support €25 / month Included the first year. Email addresses in your name, changes within two days, backups, renewals.
Taking over an existing site on quote I first check whether it is better to repair it or rebuild it.

Prices excl. VAT, payable in three instalments at no extra cost: 30% when you order, 35% when you approve the mock-up, 35% at launch — that is €177 to start a showcase site, then €206 and €207. After that, hosting, the domain name and support are combined into a single plan of €25 a month — the first year is included in the package price. One month’s notice is enough to stop it, and you keep the website.

L’Atelier de Steph

Orders used to come in through Facebook messages, between two batches in the oven. Today the site brings together the menu, the photos and a form that calculates the estimate live — the request arrives complete, priced and ready to become a quote.

  • 5 pages home, gallery, order, terms, reviews
  • 33 photos retouched and made light for phones
  • 8 offers priced automatically in the form

The second spot is open

I am just starting out: the first clients get a launch rate, and their project will be shown here as an example — with their consent.

How I work

Four steps, and you always know where things stand

None of these steps commits you before the second one. You can stop me after the quote without having paid a thing.

  1. We talk

Over a coffee or by phone. You tell me about your trade, your customers, and what wastes your time today.

    45 minutes — free
  2. You get a quote

A fixed price, the exact content of each page, and a launch date. Nothing starts without your signature.

    Within 24 h
  3. I build

First a mock-up of the home page for you to approve, then the full site. You follow the progress on a private address.

    1 to 2 weeks
  4. You’re online

Launch, submission to Google, then an hour together: we go through the site, I show you where to see your visitors and how to ask me for a change.

Why bring someone in

A website is not a logo dropped onto a template

You have tried it already, or someone has offered it to you. Here is what I hear most often — and what I do differently.

What you may have been through

  • A website started by a friend of a friend, never finished.
  • A monthly subscription running for three years without a single line changing.
  • A page you can’t read on a phone, when that is exactly where your customers are.
  • Copy lifted from a template that could describe any trade at all.
  • A contact who stops answering once the invoice is paid.

What you get here

  • A fixed price, agreed before I start, with no surprise extras.
  • Copy written with you, from your own words and your real customers.
  • A site designed for the phone first, the computer screen second.
  • A monthly plan you can stop whenever you like, taking everything with you.
  • An hour together at launch, and someone to write to afterwards.
Always included

Six things I never charge as extras

They are part of the job. A website without them is not a finished website, whatever it costs.

Easy to read on a phone

Seven visitors out of ten will find you on their phone, often standing in the street. The site is designed for that screen first.

Easy to find on Google

Titles, descriptions, business profile, directions: everything it takes to show up for “your trade + your town”.

Quick to load

Pages written by hand, without the twenty plug-ins of an off-the-shelf site. They load even on a poor connection.

Accessible to everyone

Checked contrast, resizable text, keyboard navigation: older or visually impaired customers are not left at the door.

Never locked in

I host the site, but it stays yours. The day you want to leave, I transfer the domain and hand over the files — free of charge, no questions asked.

One single contact

You get me on the phone, not a customer service desk. The same person writes, designs, codes and launches.

Frequently asked questions

What people ask me before signing

How long does it really take?

Two weeks from your go-ahead to launch, for a showcase site as well as a full website. The timing depends mostly on you: if the photos and information arrive quickly, the site goes live quickly. A bespoke project takes four to six weeks.

What exactly is a “domain name”?

It is your website’s address: what your customers type to reach you, your-business.be. It is rented by the year, like the nameplate on your door: as long as it is yours, nobody else can take it, and it stays with you even if you change websites one day.

It also gives you an email address in your name: hello@your-business.be rather than a Gmail or Hotmail address. One address is included in the Showcase package, up to three in the Full website package, and I set them up along with the site; your messages arrive wherever you usually read them, on your phone as well as your computer.

You have nothing to order or renew: I choose the name with you, I buy it, and renewals are included in the monthly plan.

Will I have to pay every month?

Yes, €25 a month — the first year is included in the price of the site. This plan covers everything that keeps a website online: hosting, renewal of the domain name, your email addresses in your name, the security certificate, backups, and changes to your opening hours or prices made within two working days.

So you have nothing to open or renew anywhere, and no hosting invoice to keep an eye on. In return, I ask you to look at what it brings you: if you never ask me for anything, tell me and we’ll talk about it. One month’s notice ends the plan, and I give you back the domain and the files.

I have no photos and no texts. Is that a problem?

No, it is the most common situation. The texts are written from our conversation — that is the copywriting option, or it is included in the full package.

For photos, we start by looking at yours: there is almost always something to work with, once cropped and brightened. If some are missing, I tell you exactly which ones to take and how — a recent phone near a window is enough for most trades, and the result is truer than a stock photo where nobody recognises you. If your business really deserves a professional, I tell you that too, and you choose them freely.

What if I don’t like the result?

You approve a mock-up of the home page before I build the rest: that is where we discuss colours and tone, not at the end. After that, two to three rounds of changes are included. If the mock-up doesn’t suit you at all, you stop everything and you only owe the deposit.

What if I want to change something?

You write to me, and it is done within two working days at no extra cost: opening hours, prices, texts, photos, closing days. It is included in the monthly plan, with no limit on the number of changes.

I would rather be honest than sell you an independence that doesn’t exist. Your website is written by hand, line by line: that is what makes it fast and long-lasting, but it has no “edit” button. One hour of training would not be enough to make you self-sufficient, and you shouldn’t have to learn my job to change an opening time. So the hand-over hour is for something else: going through the site together, seeing who visits you, and knowing how to reach me.

Can my website do the quotes for me?

Yes, and it is often what saves the most time. The customer ticks what they want — the number of people, the dishes, the options — and the total is calculated in front of them. You receive the request already priced, without having to call back with a price or redo the sums in the evening.

A caterer saves an evening a week with it; so does a removal firm, a tiler or an equipment hire business. The form on this page is exactly that: you can try it before ordering it. Allow €390 on top of your package, once we have laid out your prices together.

Who do you work with, and how far do you travel?

Freelancers, shopkeepers, craftspeople and small associations. I am happy to travel in Brussels and the surrounding area; further afield, everything works very well by video call — the quote is the same.

Shall we start?

Tell me what you do, I’ll tell you what it costs

The form takes three minutes and calculates an estimate in front of you. You then receive a real quote, free and with no obligation.
